an Alternate View through the Lens

It was at the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition displayed at KLCC in Feb 2010 (here) that I first realized how much could be achieved with black and white photographs. Half the photographs there seemed to be in black and white.

Since then, I sometimes look at my old photographs and there are occasions when I wonder : "would this work ?" Quite a number of times, it does.


But looking at this photograph also makes me realize that there has probably been a ton of images which I did not capture simply because they did not looking interesting enough 'in colour'. That Sony Photography Exhibition was a real eye opener.

I use a Nikon.
