Just a few weeks ago, one of my friends admitted that she takes photographs through her car window even when it's raining. Not the journalistic, for-record-purposes kind of photograph but the type where she deems the photo 'artistic'.
Now, I do the same thing. So this led me to wonder whether we were one of a minority and also whether there was a branch of photography called 'Photos taken through a car/train/subway window when it's raining'.
As such, I was happy to see this particular image by renowned photographer Jay Maisel today.
I guess we're not nuts after all.
